One of the most interesting, unique, and different type of bonsai is the Wine Grape bonsai. This outdoor bonsai tree is a lot of fun to look at and brings a different kind of look to your bonsai collection. It also makes a great birthday or anniversary gift, and it’s a good bonsai for a beginner bonsai grower. During the spring and summer, this remarkable little bonsai grows small grapes that are actually edible, and they look just like grapes do in the vineyards.

When pruned and shaped in the right way, the Wine Grape bonsai can be one of the main features of your bonsai collection.

There are a number of different rules to follow when shaping and cultivating your bonsai. The roots, for example, should radiate out from the trunk. As the trunk grows, it should taper off. The trunk should also lean a bit, and when viewing a bonsai, the pot should be arranged so that the trunk should lean towards the viewer. Likewise, the apex should also lean a bit towards the viewer. The branches should never cross each other and shouldn’t cross the trunk, either. The branches should begin about a third of the way up the tree, and they should be no thicker than about a third of the size of the trunk’s caliper

My favorite dessert recipe is nothing fancy, just a family brownie recipe that will knock your socks off. ¾ cup flour, ½ tsp double acting baking powder, ½ tsp salt, 1 cup sugar, ½ cup vegetable oil, 2 eggs, 1 tsp vanilla, 3 Tbs unsweetened cocoa powder, 1/8 tsp cinnamon, and 1 Tbs almond extract. Preheat oven to 350. Mix all dry ingredients, add all liquid ingredients and mix well. Pour batter into small square pan and bake for 20 minutes.

This is a simple recipe that everyone will love. Make sure you do not over-bake them though. They are so rich and moist that you will want to make these brownies weekly, and you will need to because they will get eaten up that fast! They go great with a side of ice cream.
