I have always been nuts for primates. So naturally these handmade jewelry designs of my favorite animal caught my attention. To me, nothing could be sweeter! And now that I’ve collected every single one of the Magic Zoo monkey designs, I’ve been begging the artist to do some different species. She told me she was planning on it! Big sigh of relief, and now I just have to try and be patient. Which is not one of my virtues, normally. But then again, the combination of being a silver jewelry lover, a monkey lover and a woman all contribute to that.

My best friend is crazy about wolf jewelry. Both she and I worked for a while as docents at our local zoo, and although we ended up in the primate area, she confided that her real love was the wolf. Well, as far as I know she never did get to work with the wild canines, but I can at least give her a beautiful silver pendant of one for her birthday. I’ve purposely not mentioned this online jewelry store to her, hoping I can surprise her. She’s not particularly computer-friendly, so I don’t think I have much to worry about!
