Why? Because my apple consumption has tripled since I got it! I absolutely adore it and every time I look at it, it says “come out and gaze at me, wander through the honeysuckle, smell the patchouli, trail your fingers along the stone walls and have another apple!” I’ve planted long grasses on either side of it and they really add to the Nantucket feel but really the Nantucket Arbor would be gorgeous whether it stands alone or if one entices lovely vines to climb up and over it.
My best pal thought I was crazy when I told her I was ordering a cedar arbor. She couldn’t understand why I didn’t just run down to our local hardware type place and choose one of their garden structures but now that she’s seen it she says it was a brilliant purchase. I spend a lot more time knitting and a lot less time traveling these days but believe me, as someone who does not get to throw her Sperry Top Siders in a carry on and hop on a plane nearly as much as she would like, my Nantucket Arbor, is the next best thing to being in Nantucket! And stock up on apples.
