Don’t you just love a really good movie? Most people do. In fact, going to the movies has always been one of the great American love affairs. This country has a rich heritage of movie-making, and Hollywood is still synonymous with the movies and filmmaking. The problem is, these days the steep $10 to $15 admission prices make going to the movies prohibitive for many families. And an $8 box of popcorn and $6 soda further dampens the pleasure of a night at the movies. But here is some good news — if you have Netflix, and a fast broadband connection, like AT&T Internet service, you can make family movie nights a regular feature – and for much cheaper!
We recall when video recorders first hit the market and movie rental stores opened in every city. Even grocery stores established large sections of rental movies. Then, along came DVD players. They made watching movies at home even easier than the VCRs! But these days the Internet has made watching films at home easier yet! With movie streaming sites such as Netflix, as long as you have a high speed connection, you can watch unlimited movies on your computer for less than $10 per month! Popcorn is inexpensive to make at home — and sodas are still reasonable when you buy them in the grocery store. If your Internet connection needs some speeding up, check with the Internet service providers in your area, and you will find yourself with a family movie night before you know it!
